it depends on the use case of this dapp. If it needs a blockchain then it's better to build it on eosio because there are no fees and transactions are instantaneus while on the other blockchains you have fees to pay and they're slow

your eth is not stored in the wallet, everything is stored on the blockchain. a wallet is like a keychain that unlocks an address on a blockchain which has assets on it (eth in this case). as long as you have your seed or private/public key you can not lose anything on a blockchain

By the way, if people can interact with the blockchain through a wallet from where they can vote and stake their coins, what is the point of bidding for a separate EOS name? One can create a name on a wallet and just use that to interact with the EOS blockchain.

You probably should investigate the voting mechanism. It is approval voting so everyone gets to 'approve' of up to 30 block producers and their stake is awarded to each, results tallied at each round to select the top 21 from the pool of candidates - which are currently at over 150

Pardon me if this has been rasied already, Ive just joined the group, I believe I had registed my EOS correctly on MEW & according to EOS Admin I have done so correctly though when entering my EOS MEW address into the EOS Authority check, it states I have not completed registration though does recognise my balance. only your mew wallet is registered, not your tokens.. whatever is in your wallet on june 1st during the snaphot is what will be swapped. you can check to make sure you registered your wallet properly at eosauthority.com
