eos ecr20 tokens will be frozen at main net launch. So they will be in the eth wallet, but you can't transfer them. . The new native eos tokens will be the ones you can move. . for access you need the private & public key you generated when registered you need to put them into a native eos chain wallet. exodus has a Roadmap, there is the command line wallet of the eos distro, other options will emerge. be cautios which software you entrust your eos private key with

hello....i already registerd my ETH address in March and have a private and secret EOS key.....I checked my address today at eoasauthority.com and it says I have to reregister because my registration is INVALID. When I go to eos.io I cannot click on the GET EOS icon anymore nor can I click on the registration instructions. It says EOS distribution is restricted in my region. What is this? I live in The Netherlands and I don't know anything about any restrictions. This was for US and China citizens.....anyone have similar problems? You're not the only one - there are many! You cannot get the erc-20 tokens back. But you'll get native tokens because the snapshot will attribute those you sent to your ethereum address from which you sent them. I'm assuming it is your ethereum address as you're talking about registering it (which is recommended).

What is Fallback registration? This was an amazing idea from Jimmy Calfee (eosjs) and Sean Mitchell (sandwich). Essentially they managed to convert an Ethereum Public Key into an EOS Public Key. Am I all set using Fallback? If our platform shows you an account name and an EOS public key, you are all set. You need access to your Ethereum private key if you are on Fallback registration.

Yes. The exchange __could__ fix it but it would often be economically infeasible and a security risk. I've not yet heard a success story from anyone who sent tokens from an exchange to an eos contract address. It's a shame the exchanges didn't blacklist those contract addresses.

No, registering is making an ethereum transaction to call the 'register' function of the distribution smart contract in order to submit your eos public key. You can't make transactions on ethereum without ether to pay gas fees. Mycrypto were going to work on a feature in their wallet to allow people to transfer tokens and such without any ether at their address. But the mechanism I believe was to trade a portion of the token for ether behind the scenes in order to pay.

10k usd is a good salary for a very experienced dev for A MONTH, finding bugs is not remotely as hard as fixing them and bug finding sessions in huge new features in big companies are often done for 1-2 hours if at all. If you can find a bug then it won't take over a day so you are getting over 20x your time's worth. How is that unfair to you?

You never know man, I hate hype coins like VEN TRX and actually EOS too... But, I believe in the people behind the project that enforce the execution of the targets stated in the whitepapers. Do they need Billions? F no.. Do they need 100million? Probably not... But with the right people, and capital to make decisions in this learing market of which the product (blockchain) is so extremely young and unefficient, some great things may roll out. And to be honest mate, based on users and use cases the whole market is a hype at the moment..

If you get locked it's not the end of the world. Binance will swap the tokens. It's actually a good thing they are waiting until stability. If exchanges kept withdrawals active, fudders would have a field day and cause panic dumps throughout the process

Exodus wallet is making the registration a click of a button. Since you still have your own private keys on Exodus you get the airdrops you just wont see them on the wallet if they dont support that token but they are on the blockchain. If you do an etherscan they will be there...
