My point is: setting up security and redundancy for BPs to the level of AWS will prove very costly. However,initial question was is the data encrypted coz if it is then is limits the impact somewhat even though hosted on AWS. The answer I got was that AWS can login to those BPs servers but that currently there is no incentive to. My point is: setting up security and redundancy for BPs to the level of AWS will prove very costly. However,initial question was is the data encrypted coz if it is then is limits the impact somewhat even though hosted on AWS. The answer I got was that AWS can login to those BPs servers but that currently there is no incentive to. I never heard of redundancy being an issue in any blockchain platform. Thought any nodes could go down at any time as long as there were others there to pick up the slack.

This community voting is a nice social experiment though: It seems that a lot of educated, intelligent guys decide to cheat and buy votes in order to get travel 2000 USD for travel expenses... However, if any of the teams that cheated do an ICO in the future I would not invest in it. If they can do everything for 2000 USD they will not play fair with the investors

Then I realised at the bottom of the EOS Token Distribution page there's an error saying not enough gas for the transaction! What is the minimum amount of gas I need for my registration to be successful? If I leave as it is it's setup to 1000000 which is $7! Isn't it too much?

ecr20 eos token will be frozen in place on the eth chain. . There is no swap BEFORE. . Those on exchanges supporting the transition, the exchange handles the details FOR EOS, but not necessarily for tokens dropped or derived from eos

Block.one need only answer to investors, that's how business works. They could have walked away and done nothing. Yet they are still commiting things to GitHub and interacting with the community. None of the people involved needed any of this money. The long token sale was to ensure a fairer distribution than any other project in history.

execpt the car constructor didnt use your money to build it

Car constructors do use their revenue to build more cars. Block.one specifically are not using their revenue from the distribution to pay for development of the eosio software....
