eos wont be like any of them. be in the game for long term. if you get out the train might move fast and leave you ve behind. I would not take any risk with eos given that I think 1 eos will worth 1000 usd latest in a couple years if not much sooner

eos has different nature. a lot of uncertainty will be removed after mainnet. if you hodl eos the benefit is airdrop of dapps and more importantly multiple eos chains. so eos is a digital estate. it is like a house that you can rent and get dividend.

The main reason I think EOS has a chance of ending up on top quickly is fundamentals. If it provides actual utility to the world then value could grow exponentially. As nifty as BTC and ETH are they aren't really providing *that* much utility yet.

I do. I usually sell right before new coins are released. After 2 million new coins are released prices drop. Then I buy again. I have made over 1000 EOS doing this. Go look at EOS price history and match it to coin release time. Prices always drop steeply after new coins are released.

Ok, crunch time and I still don't understand. Kinda off topic but this forum is responsive. What role does mew play in the process of initializing a trezor? Does mew create the first address? It makes no sense. I thought trezor removes the need to generate keys on computers.

That's what I don't get. Earlier today Binance would not let me deposit EOS. Now it will but Binance's website says "Binance will initiate the mainnet swap procedure on 2018/05/31" which makes me worry that it's too late.

yea i think you can still trade them on the exchanges even though on the blockchain they are frozen. the reason is that the exchanges just have all the tokens in one wallet and then have a private database where they tell which user owns how much of that token, so they should still be able to update their private databases when people trade.

Please don't confuse me with someone predicting price. I'm simply saying that there is no way to really know what's going to happen. You were saying that EOS WILL be worth much more in the future. These are ethereum accounts that didn’t have any transactions on the ethereum chain. A bit complicated. Ethereum address is not the same public key. An ethereum public key can be used to get ethereum address. Ethereum public keys are only on-chain if an address has an outgoing transaction. Not all addresses have outgoing transactions. Eg: some contracts, very dormant accounts.

Try claiming them one at a trime then. There were known issues with the claim all function, and I personally ended up claiming each day seperately. Turns out it's cheaper and faster one at a time, unless you got 200 days to claim.

There's no problem as long as your eos is in the registered address at the freeze date. Then your eos erc20 will not be usable, but your eos in the eos network will start being usable

yea should be. the difference is that you log in differently to myetherwallet in the beginning, and maybe there is a two step process to sign the transaction instead of right away. but should be good, i did it with ledger.

why use hardware wallet when you can use paper?

because with a paper wallet you will have to enter your private key in some application at some point to interact with the network. with a hardware wallet the key never leaves the device, it’s just a blackbox that signs an incoming transaction with the key and then sends that signed transaction back out.

i dont know exactly if exodus allows exporting of private keys but i would assume so. you can try with your ETH key if you can get it. they might not give you the airdrops otherwise if you dont have control over the private key, but not sure. maybe exodus support page says something, its pretty good.

I was asking how you send a code to their contract to qualify for the airdrop, I've never seen it before...

I registered. Then checked on EOSauthority said it was incomplete. I followed the next steps on MEW. So now i sent the EOS to the EOS contract address and they are there not on MEW....

As I understand, you shouldn't send EOS anywhere from mew

Apparently you have to manually sign up for the airdrop which seems stupid. So instead of great instructions they just say you have to send this hex value to their smart contract address, which i guess you best do with MyEtherWallet. You don’t have to send any funds to them just pay Gas for the ETH transaction.

None. You need to get the token holders to vote for you. By default, the provided system contract does not enforce any minimum balanceon producers.
