Binance has the convenience that they register the tokens for you. But the big disadvantage is that you have no control over the new EOS key their associating it with, and you have no control over their ETH address so you miss out on the all the current erc20 based airdrops https://steemit.com/eos/@eosgo/how-to-own-your-eos-on-launch-day

EOS is so different than any of his previous projects - it is not just a new product, but rather a foundation for future products. I think this one is going to be one of those timeless projects guys, where the founder sticks around and keeps building on top of it for a long long time.

Hi guys I was just reading the EOS token purchase agreement. I have some concerns as it says that this token has no use or purpose as Block.one is only building the software which includes the authentication mechanism, database and cpu management and that this ICO is not similar to ICOs conducted on the Ethereum Blockchain where you contribute and get tokens back. It says that the model of eos is only a software and it will be up to the community build the platform. So really what were getting is nothing in return for purchasing this token and there's no guarantee that any software company implement EOS in the future in which case would be the only way to receive EOS tokens

"The EOS Tokens do not have any rights, uses, purpose, attributes, functionalities or features, express or implied, including, without limitation, any uses, purpose, attributes, functionalities or features on the EOS Platform." I think one of the main reasons you hear a lot of f u d about EOS legal agreement is because it's all the naysayers have left to attack us own after the release of Dawn 3.0 much of the attacks on the technology being feasible has died away. But you still have a great many that are invested in not seeing EOS secede. So many of the attacks will probably not stop coming until the main chain is launched. Thanks guys, that was the point of my question. I will be honest with you guys I'm pretty big on EOS and been an early hodler as I think scalability is a big issue that EOS could solvr but I am asking the question regarding token swap now is because I became really concerned at these points in the agreement which I somehow didn't read when I purchased the tokens. so I'm just at the point of deciding whether to liquidate everything or register my EOS keys. Will give it a thought over the next few days.

I am also concerned about the token thing. Though I already registered it, but I am still very much worried. No wallet for EOS, and no update on it is also making me me worried.

Anyone can take a snapshot of the chain on June 1st. Anyone can use the software block.one produced to run block producers and launch a genesis block. Whichever chain has the most support, infrastructure and acceptance among the community is the one that will be most likely regarded as the *true* chain. therefore, based on literally the most basic game theory or even, common sense, you will get accredited with your tokens. It is then up to exchanges to choose which chain that they accept Eos deposits from to trade with. Exchanges will probably collaberate together to agree on universal chain.

1 billion dollars in 30 days is an insane burn rate, at that pace they will be broke in 2 months. I can't imagine an open source decentralized system using 1 billion dollars prelaunch. If a public company post IPO distributed 1/3 of the funds to the founders/developers the investors would go nuts. So no matter how you look at it something isn't right about this.
