Do not use third party software to generate your keys. You can easily generate keys using the official eos.io website https://steemit.com/eos/@cypherglass/how-to-generate-an-eos-private-public-key

This so far is the post for generating your key pairs. So important to go offline before generating your keys! I was very concerned about phishing so took my machine offline. I think this article takes security even further. 🙏🏼

I guess that’s the big unknown, which is to how to interact with the voting. Theoretically it doesn’t matter on launch right? The votes can be staked every 3 days and the chain will randomly select the first 21 BPs. They can always get voted out later when more and more start voting right?

Guys, I used airgap computer to enerate eos public and private key. Then wrote the public key on a paper, and entered it in using a different computer. I verified that I successfully registered (for my eth address, it shows the eos public key). Just being paranoid now thinking if it is possible that I would misinterpret a letter and make a mistake typing the wrong public key. Or the numbers and letters in the eos public key has a unique pattern that if I changed a certain character, I would NOT be able to register it on eos contract?

Last spring when ETH went parabolic BTC was healthy and doubling from Jan to June. Overall market was euphoric and ETH went up so fast that a lot of people couldn't buy it until the run to ATH was already more than halfway over. In the future we may thank our lucky stars that the spring of EOS happened while BTC was down and sideways.

i was 100% certain just month ago that Tron is dpos as i have read the technical paper, then someone told me i was wrong, so i looked into it. The funny thing is no ones really sure What exactly is their consensus, even thier super representative (SR) or aka block producers. Their own web site says it's Dpos and so does Their medium press release. Then it's another paid press release advertised in main stream media says it's now called TPOS because of the reason i stated before. I look into one of thier SR which has english web site and they even have education section to explain why Tron using Dpos and is better than pow and pos. When i asked Tron admin support channel, they said who cares? what's the different? dpos or pos, as long as it's working. LOL
