EOS sidechains will benefit Mainchain EOS holders. As I was thinking about the future of EOS and the impact that it would have on the blockchain industry as a whole. The thought hit me like a ten-ton pallet of bricks. I don't think I was thinking of EOS deeply enough in terms of the true potential of the technology, almost everyone involved in EOS right now is focused on the mainchain launching in the projects that will be built on it, but what gets little attention is the potential of the EOS sidechains and their benefits to all Eos mainchain holders. First off the Greater EOS Ecosphere is not just made up of the mainchain EOS holders , it will also be made up of potentially countless sidechains all linked together with inter blockchain communication, furthermore some sidechains may possibly release using the EOS Genesis snapshot which means that many EOS Genesis holders would gain a dividend AKA (airdrop) to do with as they please. Others sidechains with their own coin holder distribution would still be linked to the EOS mainchain and benefit the EOS ecosphere bye being a testing grounds for all sorts of niche decentralized applications, that could easily be integrated/ported over onto the mainchain, (especially when you consider that it's all running on the same software) some of these application may potentially have game changing innovations, this would logically increase the value of the EOS mainchain as well. All sidechains would be a net benefit to the EOS mainchain, because of niche governance models which would attract any potential holders that for whatever reason disliked the EOS mainchain governance model. Essentially being more attractive to a browder community of users. Many sidechains will also have niche improvements which would benefit the Greater EOS Ecosphere in a unprecedented way. Combined with having the ability to adapt quickly without Hard Fork controversies, will be a much needed improvement to the blockchain industry. The sidechains will be tiny ecosystems in and of themselves testing what works and strengthening the EOS ecosphere in the process. The Greater EOS Ecosphere is a Metroplex, and like any metroplex it has one Big City at its center AKA (the EOS mainchain) surrounded by lots of suburbs AKA (all EOS sidechains) all interconnected and working together for a better future for all involved. I'm always amazed when people care that Ethereum moves from the ICO. Are people really expecting block.one to long term hold Ethereum and speculate when they're a business that needs to secure fiat value. Block.one is a business. Not a speculative trading desk or brokerage. Of course they have to sell Ethereum.

The allegations are 1. 1 BILLION dollars has been moved 2. a good % has been moved to bitfinex - Brock Pierce owns Bitfinex and Block one 3. Tether audit has never been completed which is crazy as the audit is bloody simple - how many $ in the bank 4. is the money being moved there to sort out USDT issue

The registration process is simply the process of mapping your EOS public key to the ETH wallet address where the EOS ERC-20 tokens are currently residing. When the snapshot is taken, your ERC-20 tokens will effectively become obsolete on the Ethereum blockchain and instead you would end up with the same number that you had as EOS coins on the EOS blockchain.

The ratio is 1:1 in most cases. Some don't airdrop to anyone holding less than 100 EOS tokens/coins. And if the tokens/coins are on an exchange such as Kraken, then you won't get any of the airdrops.

If you want to trade before the snapshot date, you can have it on zebpay or any other exchange. However, if you want to hold for the snapshot, you should trf to a wallet whose private key are controlled by you. And remember to register the wallet before 1st june

What is the benefit to register

Note about the snapshot: The current EOS contract on Ethereum will be frozen and a snapshot of all EOS token balances registered to Ethereum addresses will be taken.* Block.one will make this snapshot publicly available on June 1-2 depending on your timezone.** Then, block producers not associated with block.one will begin the work of coordinating a main net launch of the EOSIO software and utilize the mentioned snapshot of EOS token balances to distribute EOS coins after a successful launch of the main net. A lot more detail goes into confirming a specific EOSIO chain as "THE" main net for EOS coin. It's likely that once the EOS ICO contract is frozen, no one will be able to utilize their balance until several days to a week or so later due to the complexity of coordinating a launch that ALSO receives consensus as THE EOS chain. More than 100 Block Producer Candidates have been preparing with each other, including a test launch sequence, for some time now in other channels. This should lead to a coordinated launch with minimal hiccups, though a few getting started are to be expected, of course. * Dan Larimer has recently noted that unregistered EOS tokens will likely be moved into a separate Ethereum contract and await an Ethereum Lite client to exist, at which point the rightful owners will need to sign a transaction with both their Ethereum and EOS private keys to receive their property. ** Some exchanges have officially announced that they will handle the EOS main net token swap for their users, including Bitfinex, Binance, Kraken, Huobi, OKEx, Upbit, Cobinhood, Gopax, CoinSpot, OTCBTC, KKcoin, and KuCoin. It is expected that most exchanges will support the token swap, but users must contact specific exchanges directly or see their official announcements via their websites or social media. While leaving your EOS tokens on an exchange may be simpler, as you do not need to register them, most exchanges will not support all airdrops. Do not expect them to, as the time involved to track and distribute all airdrops among all coins that have airdrops is often too time-consuming for their staff. To ensure you receive airdrops, as well as achieve maximum security of your property, registering your EOS address is the only way.
