This is unnecessary. Metamask can be accessed via the myetherwallet interface without exporting keys. When you tell mew which wallet you want to access just select the metamask option.

Load an os and the validator from removable media and run entirely offline. Use a few validators to validate the validators if you like.

My strategy: I opened up the EOSIO website in Tor which doesn't allow a lot of stuff to run in the background. I checked the certificate (should say verified by Amazon). Then I went to the registration and clicked MEW. Then I turned off the internet and and clicked key generate. It actually takes a little while in Tor. After copying down the keys I turned off the computer and restarted it.

The 360 bugs were fixed as of 2pm on the 29th per Dan Larimer. But because coindesk, cointelegraph, and pretty much anyone with an internet connection is reporting it we will likely see people posting "look what I just found" articles about it for the next couple days.
