There will probably be no benefit from registering Binance Eth address. Airdrops will maybe land, maybe not, probably not. I know that if you go to balance page and show all balances, there are some coins which aren't tradable but are there because some coins forked and holders got the amount of new coins.

I mean I can keep EOS on exchange and get it converted to whichever chain (I don't care) .. and then move to EOS wallet .. the current method of transferring ERC-20 to ETH wallet etc is quite cumbersome and not neat at all !! .. I wished it should've been handled automatically by EOS itself

They've only stated they will cover the swap for eos. They haven't said what they will do with all future airdrops. Own the keys to own any tokens distributed to eos token holders. Don't leave it to the exchange to decide whether you should have it or not

This is a hard thing to prove and/or disprove. Imagine someone says they lost crypto to someone else who scammed them, and in reality there was a legitimate business transaction. It'd be hard to prove or disprove.

I don't think this is something you prove. You evaluate the person making the claim, and take into consideration that they followed instructions sent out from a compromise ticket system. In the case of my friend, the phishing email was a reply to a block.one convo about an EOS community event he was planning in his city.

I haven't dismissed the nature of the attack. A scam is a scam. Is it provable that your friend was actually a victim or how many could make the claim for compensation whether they be true or false? You empower the scammer to offer compensation. Saying they weren't invited to scam you or your friend isn't dismissing the nature, it's correcting an accusational analogy.

Hi everyone, I need your help. The Block Producer agreement still says BPs can own up to 9.99% of other BPs which will quickly create voting cartels and harm the network. We (Cypherglass) have been trying to get this changed for more than a week but the other BPs are not cooperating. ❗️❗️❗️ Please message your favorite Block Producers and ask them to “change article 15 of the BP agreement to prohibit anyone from owning a stake in more than 1 BP”. Are you aware or involved in the review process lead by EOS REAL ? This statement is not accurate. Lots of BP teams are working to agree all governance documents and there are conference calls planned this week to close out.

We agree all BPs should be independent. We are 100% founder owned and funded. The docs aren’t finalized. Will check and review again. I would just caution calls to action to such a wide group this close to launch. There is lots going on and everyone is working hard to get this done right. The conference calls this week are the time to raise and argue and call out any major points.

If BP1 owns a percent of BP2, then BP1 is financially incentivized to keep BP2 elected. They can simply vote for each other and share profits. With enough BPs owning a percent of another BP and voting for each other, they will be locked in regardless of the community’s stance.

Dapp developers can design their business model such that their users won't have to hold eos. With ethereum there are gas fees which make this infeasibly expensive, and end users end up paying for transactions. You're aware of eos having fee-less transactions? By holding eos you get a proportion of network resources available to you at all times. So developers can hold stake enough (or arrange for others to delegate it towards them) to cover the use of their dapp by users. There's so many ways to organise everything, the flexibility is astounding. I think we'll see a fair few secondary markets based around use of resources.

BPs will validate transactions and run the network. There are more than 170 candidates now and people will vote for them. There will be 21 BPs and they’ll change accordingly to what people decide. If you want to be a part of the healthy network and want your Eos to gain value you should vote too. Voting portals will be available after the launch of the mainnet

So I've read the Cypherglass post on their concerns. I disagree with this statement from it **"Instead of this dangerous rule which allows Block Producer collusion and corruption"** I believe what we all want to see is wording which ensures that BPs are independent and not subjected to any outside influence. Of the 1% , .25% is allocated on an effort per block basis , and .75% is allocated based on the number of votes the BPs have including all of the backups BPs. There is a cutoff of 100 EOS / day so if a BP earns less than that they get zero for that day. It will be interesting to see how it works in practice.

All is good. It’s obvious there are some bugs and that’s why running the testnet is so important. There has been done so so so much work and you can see it on GitHub. Dan even created a bounty program to anyone who discovers a bug in some specific things like being able to create a looping contract or something like that etc.

The tokens will be frozen before the snapshot. Regarding the freezing from the website: Within 23 hours after the end of the final period on June 1, 2018 at 22:59:59 UTC, all EOS Tokens will become fixed (ie. frozen) and will be non-transferrable on the Ethereum blockchain

At first less tokens registered = higher price seems reasonable, but then remember that EOS gets it's value primiarly by it's community and network effect. If 40% of EOS tokens don't show up on the network, that will be a huge blow to the community and could actually cause a price dump. You have to ask yourself, is EOS stronger with more people using it or not? Restated in otherwords, would the value of Facebook go up or down if half their users left the platform? Lastly, the network I want to build and be a part of is one where we look out for one another and the network, which ends up making everyone better off and creating a more valuable EOS. I'm not being sefless, I'm being selfish, my best benefit is if the network and community are strong, and so are yours. Spread the word and get people to register.

There will be a snapshot that is the basis for any chain based on eos, so if you want to be part of any new chain tiat is launched you should register them.
