It's no wonder EOS price is going down. There is so much incentive to sell because there is no single source of easily accessible, clear information about which exchanges are supporting the swap and how. I can't believe this isn't on the main page of the EOS website.

if your public key is different from the one you originally received last year, then I'd suggest either registering your ETH address (if you feel comfortable going thru that process on MEW)...or download the Exodus wallet, and go thru their very simple EOS registration process...just a few clicks of the mouse....then transfer your ERC-20 tokens there

Today EOS ERC20 is a no-utility token, with 100% of tokens "unlocked" and in free float. On launch of main net - several factors will change: 1) EOS will become a utility token, that DAPP builders need to hold to make use of the EOS network. To "use EOS" the EOS need to be stacked & effectively locked or taken out of free float - On launch we will see some XX% of the EOS tokens staked and taken out of circulation - As more and more DAPPs populate EOS, more and more EOS will be staked/locked & we will have less and less free float1 2) Unregistered EOS ERC20 tokens will be locked in smart contracts until a rightfull claim can be made by the owners to "unlock them" - currently ca. half the EOS ERC20 tokens are registered (without Fallback - being the lock up in smartcontract until a claim can be made to release) 3) The "messy swap" is history, likely causing many to buy in again 4) All the news about the launch of main net will cast focus on EOS likely drawing new interest to EOS 5) A significant ammount of Airdrops are announced and likely more will come after launch of mainnet - casting interest to the EOS token. 6) with launch of main net the ICO will be over, and we will no longer have 2 million EOS coming into the market every day. 7) Incentives for HODLers are created such as the ability to rent out EOS. Are you seing the same pending paradigm shift in the "supply & demand" picture (Drastically increased demand & drastically reduced supply (in free float)? This could be very interesting price wise the next weeks if i'm not missing something fundamental here...

you can register your ETH address prior to transferring EOS into it....just remember to have some ETH in the wallet in order to pay for gas needed for the registration process

Yeah, claiming became more important after Everipedia announced an airdrop, but that got pushed into the genesis block anyway. Only missed eosDAC and the evolutionos or whatever drop. No guarantee any of them are worthwhile.

I have 55 dollars i.e 0.1ether approx in my mew. I am using metamask. I have choosen 200000 units and 100 gwei which is approximately 11 dollars for registration. For last one hour mymetamask is showing "taking too long, retry with higher price". Not sure how much higher should I do. And I am not able to find transaction hash in etherscan? Although am I following the process clearly written in eosio for registration. Not sure what mistake am doing? It is it all people rushed towards registration so it's taking lots of time? Thanks!
