If it is different I reckon there will be others launching with 1:1 ratio or possibly the inverse of your worry. 2: no price is guaranteed, it is decided by the market. Im a bit concerned about the value of one EOS token after mainnet launch Ive seen the scalability diagram where there are multiple chains with one ultimate chain (mainnet). And the performance of mainnet will be divided into the number of tokens released. Should the mainnet (entity) decides to release 1:0.5 for original holders and rest 0.5 to already exisitng other community, the value of token will be halved . How is the voting system will prevent this? This may be due to my lack of knowledge about the voting system but seeing how our chinese friends' communities or number of BPs could already have over 10% of circulating EOS tokens (maybe just my speculation i hope), things could happen. I would like to understand how EOS holders are seeing the future (EOS value to be increased)

Yes, unfortunately myetherwallet is third party. They mention claimAll in those instructions which is bad because it doesn't work and should be 'claim' instead.

No that's not the case. There's a fallback plan which covers most tokens in non-registered ethereum addresses. We've been talking about eos tokens mistakenly sent to the smart contract addresses.

First create a dummy empty wallet on your online machine. Then go to Contracts. Write the contract as described on the EOS website. Use your EOS **public** key and generate the transaction. Copy the raw transaction data. On your offline device go to Send Offline and fill out Step 2 with the data from the online raw tx. You'll need to use the nonce from your actual wallet. You can replace the Gas Price with a price of your choice. See ETH Gas Station for more info. Generate the transaction and use a QR code reader to copy the signed tx and broadcast it in your online machine. Let me know how you get on.

1. You have the option of cryptographic proof of your entitlement to your EOS tokens, don't be an idiot and rely on a 3rd party for profit company to give them to you instead. 2. Mainnet start might not go smoothly, a 2nd chain might start up with it's own set of EOS tokens, in which case you then gotta hope that the exchange will honour it on there too.

Locate your existing EOS token contract address which you can locate using etherscan .io 3. Then map the ERC20 Token address to the EOS wallet address (generated at 1.) as per this instruction http://bit .ly/MapEOSToken 4. Finally check you did it correctly https://eosauthority. com/“ One question though, generating a wallet address and private key from that github site at step 1. is trusting that site as benign. In theory the site could be storing all those keys?

Located existing EOS token contract address which you can locate using etherscan . io 3. Then mapped the ERC20 Token address to the EOS wallet address (generated at 1.) as per this instruction bit . ly/MapEOSToken 4. Finally checked I did it correctly eosauthority . com One question with this method don't I have to trust the github site at step 1 is not retaining my public key/private key combination?

Lol. Ummm.... The erc20 tokens are frozen in place FOREVER as at June 1st jack ass. They CAN NOT BE MOVED... ever. The new tokens will have to go through the listing (security) process for all exchanges and be listed separately. You can't unstake your new tokens from the initial genesis contract until there is 15% of votes for one main chain. You can't move your new tokens until three days AFTER you unstake them. There is a min on a week before they can be moved at all let alone listed on exchanges, unstaked by the masses and then sold. Learn to research mate. It'll serve you well.

If anyone is thinking about starting some smaller alt-EOS chains, I'm still waiting for a "dark EOS" which focuses on privacy (never any in chain identity stuff), immutability (so no need for arbitration), and allows for kickbacks from voting for BPs. It would be significantly different with a different constitution, definitely not a threat to the main EOS chain, but useful.

I'm not Dan, but I developed the following opinion after attending the first EOS NY Meetup with Thomas Cox. If you just want to be a holder and vote , then you can be as private as you want. If you want to do actual business on the block chain, then you need to weigh the business benefits of identifying yourself vs being private.
