I would like to ask my question again: I just read this statement on a website: The Exodus wallet has also warned it would not serve as a mechanism to acquire the new tokens. Exchanges are the only platforms that would be capable to instantly credit the new balances. But when i look at the exodus website, they give EOS advice on how to register them and keep them in the wallet..? I am confused and a bit worried. @HeatherParks wants to know also.

I doubt it. But hypothetically if corruption and bad actors escalate the situation too far it won't work. They're are many possible things which could happen. From BPs being 'voted out' to the community forking the chain and cutting out bad actors along with their tokens. And many possible scenarios in between.

Most Exchanges are saying they will handle the conversion to EOS but please check for your specific one. Note that if it's on an exchange then you probably won't get any airdrops of new coins based on the genesis block (ie a number of tokens are launching on EOS and airdropping for free to EOS holders)

No. I think most of it was sold during the course of the year. They've stated that they won't act maliciously toward ethereum (paraphrasing)
