Same thing happened to me, so I sold all my eos temporarily, going to wait till better professional tools come out

Yes, avoid HitBTC. They are a bunch of crooks! I have tokens stuck on that exchange. Their website lies about fees. Once you have tokens on that exchange they charge HUGE amount of said token to withdraw. CROOKS! Stay away from HitBTC.

yes, you dont need to use your private key right now if you already have an eos account. you can just wait and airdrops will still be sent there in the meantime.

Note SimplEOS didn't show balance correctly after delegating a new account; seemed to have subtracted 2 EOS from unstaked instead of 1; I let them know. Also they need to fix refresh for history to preserve sort order of date column for example.

Hi everybody. Could somebody please help me? I purchased 101 eos on binance on the 23rd of May. I was under the impression that binance would support the airdrops but I only received eon and now I see karma airdroped, but my binance account doesn't show it. Well thanks guys and girls, learned a bit more about eos. By the way if you are trying to unstake your eos. rAM I was able to get away with 0.001, for CPU I had to use 0.045. You can start lower on CPU and if it’s not enough it will show a message of error with request and push, basically ratio of first number to second number has to be 1:1. Second number representing the staked eos you left for CPU will get you idea how much you have to increase it to avoid error.

Wow, I have spent a good portion of the evening attempting to figure out what, if any, EOS wallet to use. For the relatively tech initiated, this task had been at minimum... Daunting. Seems absolutely ridiculous that block.one and a $4 billion raise couldn't find the resources to build this community, and their blockchain, a tested and simple interface/set of tools... that doesn't require command line level programming prowess to access. Getting so let down by this seemingly amateuristic and increasingly (apparent) opportunistic approach to get us all to early invest in this project.

Wallet is the most basic thing. An average user shouldn't need to trust people's words on which wallet to use. They should be able to get that info from the site itself. You mean ETH, BTC are not community driven projects. But they provided the basic tools. You can't run away from them. And then the devs can build whatever they want. When you raise 4 billion, then people do have some expectations from you. All we need is an official wallet or a public list of blockone recommended wallet. And they can certainly do that. If they can work on hardware wallet, then they can launch a desktop wallet too. People shouldn't need to roam in wild west. You can at least post sign board if nothing else

Ya, now that's something I can't argue with. Dan has retweeted it, so he is clearly fine with Greymass. I guess now I can use Greymass in emergency. But I would still love to see these wallets listed on the site, from the perspective of a random non techie eos user. I know this is official Dan account on Steemit, but not everyone might know that. We do need official recommendations, there should be no doubt in it. People like to trust official sites more than Telegram or posts on Steemit. I have loast my EOS rec20 token that were in my IDEX deposit wallet and I don't know how to get it back. on May 26th I transferred approximately 519 EOS erc20 tokens into my IDEX deposit wallet from MEW thinking ti would be safe to leave it there. When I checked again yesterday, something was wrong. It was there but I couln't access it because ti was locked. I contacted IDEX about getting my EOS erc20 tokens back and they said that the EOS erc20 tokens are now locked due to the launch of the EOS mainnet and that I should contact EOS directly to get it resolved. please help me get my tokens back. Please.

$100 is a very realistic target, once market recovers EOS will be $100 anyway. The big break will be the 1k region. Once EOS breaks that it will be easy to go from 1k -5k, don’t forget EOS is a multi friendly cryptocurrency that is faster and better and actually builds on applications with an implementation of mainnet. There is only rare news on EOS neg. It will happen. I just feel sorry for the people who will buy from $30+. As now in the time to buy. Even 1 EOS i value right now as $480.

They are on mainnet no swapping. You can withdraw from kraken or bitfinex. I'm not sure that binance are open for withdrawal yet.

Exchange's do the same with all coins they hold most in cold storage and it's not really yours in till you withdraw to a wallet that you hold your private keys.

team will continue to expand using those tokens. also only 25% of team members allocations are available. 25% gets unlocked only when/if a working awesome MVP is delivered. The rest is spaced out over some time to incentivize team members to keep working on it as well as expanding the team. Some surprises planned as well 😉

Basically the quiz is announced in advanced for the day/time, the CEO, or other, asks a question about the project (usually the answer is from the whitepaper or the site but not always) and gives the telegram group 10-15 min to answer, then they or the team chooses their favorite answer (this can be a technical close ended answer for whose the fastest, it can be an open ended question where they're looking for people to explain things in their own words, or it can be a suggestion or opinion they express and which one they choose is completely subjective). This happens 5 times and 5 ETH worth of tokens (or whatever amount you want) is awarded to the top 5 answers. Of course this is generally how it's done but you can tweak it however you wish. 😉
