What transaction? My suspicions are it's not going to be one on the eos blockchain. Either you're withdrawing from an exchange and they've not sent it, or it's a different blockchain you're using.

I disagree that it's obvious that someone told her to invest in eos. It seems to me that someone joined the group just now and knows nothing about eos and is making vague comments which aren't relevant to the purpose of the group. Currently I see EOS forks as a experiment for the real thing. A “testnet” if you will. Like with tellos they’re implementing a few features that have been talked about with EOS. Now we can see how that would actually play out in reality..

Sorry I question your smartness. Did you try to open binance and see EOS? Can you see if "deposit" and "withdraw" both tabs are working? If they are then it is 101% fine. If they have suspended the deposit, you will never be able to click "deposit". everything is working smooth... just press deposit and get the address and memo ... simple it is

EOS from myetherwallet? Sorry but there are no eos on myetherwallet anymore. Eos has already moved to their own blockchain. They dont use erc20 chain anymore. All eos on mew are frozen for life.

Go to eosauthority and fill ur ether adress to see your tokens. It will tell you your eos public key/eos account name. Then go to eosflare.io and fill that public key in search. It will tell you ur staked and unstaked tokens.

I think most are still using the genesis snapshot. Whether airdrops are done on the genesis snapshot or some future snapshot is totally up the dev team behind those projects. No way to know how that will shake out or how long devs will aidrop on EOS.

Absolutely. It's like a shell company. It looks like it's achieved adoption going by content ABOUT ethereum. But when you look for content ON ethereum..., crickets... I was super excited about btc in 2010 but only bought a few to hold for fun as I was not happy with the 10min block time or tps in terms of usability. I was super excited about ethereum a year before it came out. Again, I only bought a few as I was not happy with the tps or the fee model in terms of usability. As soon as I heard about eos mid last year I dove in to research. After a month of research, I went in hard on eos. The tech The company The strategy The people The funding The community All are leading the crypto space by a mile.

Visa is a more widely used process for transactions and has been around to build up its infrastructure MUCH MUCH longer. Meaning more transactions are being sent out at a time. There aren’t that many going out at one time on EOS, but I’m sure it can handle it. Also, Visa charges vendors for transaction processing. Something EOS does not do.

I'm sure somebody with more knowledge can answer that but EOS can scale way beyond 2k TPS. We are currently at .04% capacity according to blocktivity. The chain will continue to scale when BPs beef up their infrastructure. Furthermore, there is already at least one new EOS chain launching that should connect directly to the mainnet eventually. It will be a public chain just like the mainnet. EOS has tackled the scaling issue far better than any other blockchain and it will cointinue to grow and evolve over time.

Anyone can use whatever blockchain they want as a side chain. It could even be their own. The tps, governance, etc would all be characteristics of that blockchain irrelevant of the main chain. I think you mean to ask if blockone plans on developing and selling access to sidechains that have identical structure to the current main chain? I think the answer is no for obvious reasons.

Side chains will use eos token to communicate with main chain. If using eos token, it'll be the same bp's that process tx back to the main chain. BP's will end up being like data centres with many machines, all running side chains. Side chains with value in their native token will be an added income to bps and they'll support them. Crappy side chains will need to find their own bp's for their internal tx until they have enough value in their token for the main bp's to support it. BP's SLA is an odd comment... The protocol sets the block time, if bp's miss their block hey are identified as missing a block. If it happens regularly, the community will vote for other bp's. No lawyers needed.

it means you have to unstake whatever you want to move or use...it takes 72 hours for the refund once unstaked. All new accounts had 10 EOS unstaked and the rest staked

Never put your private key anywhere, first create your Active/Owner keys from your private key, then only use your Active key in wallets to interact with the EOS blockchain and always keep your tokens staked. If your Active key gets compromised, you would have 3 days to create a new Active key using your Owner key which should always be kept offline in cold storage. Here’s an example on how to create your Active/Owner keys https://youtu.be/nyyE05qFc78. If you use a Mac, I recommend the following method to generate your EOS keypair: https://steemit.com/eos/@eosnewyork/securely-generating-an-eos-public-private-key-pair-using-official-eos-io-code Use this tool https://eosauthority.com/alerts to keep track of all your EOS account activities via email and/or Telegram. If your EOS tokens get unstaked and you didn't do it, this means that your Active key has been compromised and that you have up to 3 days to create a new one using your Owner key, thus making the previous Active key completely useless, so no one could steal your coins in that case.

no...you will see from the instructions that your current private key will remain the active key..the active key can do everything except change permissions on your account so your scatter account would be for everyday use..and your owner key is kept offline as it can always override the active key

probably not....but with your tokens stakes, account alarmed and a separate offline owner key then in the unlikely event you compromise your active key you can override any attempt to unstake your EOS that wasn't initiated by you with the owner key

by typing the private key into the keypair instead of pressing th generate button...then it willbring in your public key automatically

there is a bug in scatter however if you need to type in your private key ...which means you need to type your private key into a text document and copy and paste it from there into scatter
