These are ridiculous claims. For starters, they claim that an account is selling off tons of EOS for ETH, but those EOS are the erc20 tokens and have been frozen for awhile now.

That’s true, BFT measures tolerance to such faults. I would think you would want as strong BFT as possible in a decentralized system, versus sacrificing it for throughput, but that’s just my opinion.

We’ve already seen EOS is far less Byzantine Fault Tolerant. As long as people are ok with that, who are we to argue. Some protocols aim for sovereign grade BFT, some for platform grade. Personal preference.

Guessing. Assumed circa $20M avg funding per dApp. 20 from B1 if a wet finger in the air. I know they're doing wallet, social media, DEX and ID. They also have said many times they intend to disrupt Uber, air bnb etc. I also know they are building out a massive complex like Google to house thousands of employees... I'd be shocked if they release less than 20 dApps in the first 18 months

I believe @daniellarimer mentioned yesterday that B1 will be building apps to run atop EOSIO. This concerns me a little from the perspective of approaching the B1/VC partnerships. If an established business comes to B1/VC with an investment proposal, what's to stop the incredibly well resourced and knowledgeable [of EOS] B1/VC partnership thinking "Wow, yes, that really is a great idea - thanks. We'll take it from here" Going public with any proposal always carries risks - but approaching what's effectively the world's richest DApp development house with a DApp idea.... ? Sure, NDAs & legals- but how many smaller dev shops go out of business before patent battles are settled with HP, Microsoft & Apple.

As a games designer i would love to be able to utilise unreal engine and unity on the eos blockchain, loom network sidechain is looking promising for ethereum with their sdk, hoping for side chains soon on eos.
