well first you need your eth private key of the wallet that holds your EOS, then you need to use scatter chrome plugin to generate a eos private key, then you can use that to check if your EOS was registered.

Of course... they may choose the best way for their project, and the genesis-snapshot has technicaly many advantages. Longterm IMO still using the genesis-snapshot will be confusing... so the problem will solved automatically... NOW I think, a non-genesis based airdrop could be healthy for the whole EOS-ecosystem.

Chaince needs to be more transparent with their “dividends” program before I’m willing to tie up money with them. I had to ask many times and was berated by other community members in the Chaince Telegram group before an admin finally admitted that NO DETAILS have been released about the so called “dividends” program. The admins kept telling members to refer to the white paper for details. I then pointed out that the white paper gives no detail. I can only assume those same admins never read the white paper themselves. These details should be released before asking community members to tie up/stake assets - in my opinion.

My understanding is that dApps would run really fast on EOS because of the .25 - 1 second block creation time allowing for an almost seamless interaction with the blockchain. Is that going off the assumption the chain will never err or produce invalid blocks? Because in that .25-1 second, a block is produced by one block producer. So, no block producer has yet to validate it. Unless, Block Producers are consistently checking each added block the moment they are added? I guess that would make more sense

I think I see it. "In a global network the speed of light limits the practical latency from time of proposal to the time a node receives ⅔+ commit messages to about one second (500ms round trip latency * 2 round-trips). " so it takes one second for a block to get 2/3 commit before able to add it to the chain. So that brings up one more question. What if a block producers fails to produce the appropriate amount of blocks in its given time slot because the other BP's were too slow to commit? Would that block producer be penalized or would the ones who failed to commit be penalized?

I think you have to leave like 0.1 staked for each to maintain your account on the network. I can’t remember. It won’t let you unstake passed the minimum requirement though so it’s not like you will screw something up.

If I have EOS ERC20 saved in MEW and I registered my MEW account with EOS before June 2, how do I move EOS ERC20 tokens to the mainnet?

the mew tokens are gone. frozen forever. useless. if you registered that etherem (eos erc20) address correctly then you should have a new eos keypair. you can paste that public key on e.g. eosauthority.com to see your new eos account name and should see an equal amount of tokens there.

you can move them or stake/unstake/vote or whatever using one of the wallets like eos-voter by graymass or scatter. it will require your private key to change stuff on the blockchain
