Tokens sent to one of the contract addresses were attributed to the sending address, so you should have eos on the eos blockchain. Have you checked?

I think you're getting confused between contract addresses and standard ethereum addresses. You didn't send eos erc-20 tokens to the contract address as such. You (or someone) transferred them to another ethereum address. Simple transfers went via the contract address.

If I were you I'd try to work out where you got ethereum address 0xb7Eab8e612826BB8CBE063dd0D47cE20434bfD59 from. You transferred your eos erc-20 tokens to this address. Don't think in terms of sending them to the smart contact, you actually transferred them to this ethereum address.

You should have about 8k to run smoothly. Transfers and tokens take ram, if you dont have many, they the default 4 K is enough.

I think there is no official wallet. If not Cleos is that. Semi-official is Scatter to be used with some web wallet like https://walleteos.com/login. (Web wallets are not official) On desktop you can use Graymass or SimplEOS

Exodus still have to implement EOS wallets into their app. The EOS you have on there just now are the EOS Ethereum ERC20 tokens. The EOS ERC20 tokens were only used for the snapshot to verify how many EOS you had. Those tokens are now frozen indefinitely. You can wait until Exodus implements the EOS wallets into their app or you can access your EOS from an EOS wallet with the EOS keys you got from registering. You can get those keys on Exodus through the developer menu. The developers of EOS never said that they would have a ui wallet available at launch. EOS was meant to be community run. If block one were to release their own ui wallet at release, it would stunt the growth of community developers, which is ultimately against the whole reason why EOS was created. Expecting such a wallet is just an assumption you made up. The two wallets I mentioned are both heavily audited, open source, and endorsed by the community and many of the top elected block producers.

Can anyone help me? I registered my ETH wallet when I purchased EOS tokens during the ICO. Later I received EOSDAC in the same wallet. Before the mainnet launch I was a bit confused when people started talking about EOS tokens getting frozen if you didn't have it in the right wallet. I was under the impression that if your EOS wasn't in a wallet that supported the swap my tokens would be permanently stuck as ERC20 and useless. So, to keep things simple I moved my EOS to Binance 1 day before the main net launch. I think that was a mistake, but not sure. Although my tokens should have been automatically changed on Binance (I have yet to check, but I'm sure they were) I think I will possibly now miss out on other airdrops because I moved my EOS - I am not 100% sure about this. It's very difficult to find the info I need in one place. I'm ready to download a wallet for my EOS. I was looking at Scatter. Do I just create a new wallet with a new private key and move my EOS from Binance there? Or, is there a way to create a new wallet and basically tell it what your registered wallet was at the time of the snapshot so you have airdrops in there? This is all a bit confusing. Any have any suggezstions or if you could point me to a good resource I'd be really grateful.

Hey jon. Your question has many parts but ill take a shot. If you registered when your tokens were in an erc20 wallet you should have received a private key which you can now use to access your snapshot account. If you didnt have any tokens in the account at the time of snapshot June 1st then i believe its possible you dont have an account. Based on what you have told me your tokens were in binance at the time of the snapshot. As a result you wont be getting airdrops. The good news is that your tokens are real eos tokens on binance. All you need to do now is make an eos account. Heres a service you can use eos-account-creator.com

Exactly. It doesn't appear there is anything you can do for now. They make work on a solution to help resolve your issue at a later date, but there's nothing you can do at the moment. You cannot access your EOS.

Well, did you register your ETH address before the main net swap ? Etherscan does not show any EOS value because EOS has moved from the ETH blockchain to the EOS main net blockchain.

the MyEOSKit only requires one public key tied to one private key so your Owner and Active key will be the same initially.

You are mistaken. You don't send anything to "simpleos" you send them to your "account" name which holds them for your wallet to access.
