How long until the new constitution? Until then we have a single centralized entity controlling all of EOS, from what I can tell. That was excusable in the few days after chain launch (consider the launches of other chains) but given the momentous backlash against freezing accounts under ruling of ECAF I don't see why they are continuing this after a break? It was really *just* that they couldn't prove their identity on-chain?

That's fair! Yes, the account holders who had their token holdings secured were no doubt happy. Obviously that's a great feature... IF the EOS governance is mature enough to implement it consistently. However, at the time there were many articles and many many social media posts arguing against the action. While some were just pro immutability, plenty of others focused more on the immature nature of the ECAF system. It was unclear what the checks was to ECAF power, especially with fake orders floating around. I had thought we were waiting for the new constitution to be clearer about arbitration....

I used the greymass wallet to see airdrops today as Simpleos isn’t showing all airdrops.. the MEE question has been answered many times.. not sure exactly why they dropped them on MEW as they can’t be moved.. it’s just a way of tracking the airdrops

It's the same system used by the Bancor exchange, which I recommend for purchasing some crypto currencies; very easy and convenient if you just want to buy coins for market value. BTW Bancor is a BP under the name Liquid.

You can read more about their clever algorithm from their web site. On their exchange, when you buy a coin, they use smart contracts to price the source coin from multiple exchanges to BNT (their own coin), then convert BNT to the destination coin; that's for ETH based coins for now.

Normally they operate off of multiple exchanges, but in this case RAM is traded on just one "exchange", i.e. in EOS, although I do see it traded now on chaince exchange. You can buy/sell RAM using your EOS on eostoolkit . io site and buyeosram . io, and can see prices there and from eos . feexplorer . io

When was the 2 june, all eos registrered was divided in this way. 10 eos into de unstake balance and the other eos staked. If you would change the token allocation you can do that or with cleos or more simple using an eos wallet. There are many but i suggest to use or eos-voter by greymass (super easy and very nice) simpleos (very good looking style wallet) or scatter. With scatter i suggest to use the tool https://eostoolkit.io/home powered by genereos

Update on EOS It occurred to me on Friday morning that the whole RAM scare has been massively exaggerated. At $200k to do an Airdrop on a platform (EOS) that already gurantees no SEC issues, over 170k addresses/accounts which translates to awareness, not forgetting the opportunity of getting a free list by Chaince(a DEX focused on EOS projects), RAM was cheap at $200k! No wonder Kent and team paid the money and did the Challenge DAPP airdrop. They can see the vision. EOSDAC raised over 45 million dollars, Everipedia is already a success as well as Chaince. So to spend $200k and make even if it's just $10 million for me is a good deal. BlockOne proposed and soon will implement 1KB of RAM per block to further calm or crash the RAM Prices. Let's not forget IBC later in the year that will further crash the RAM Prices slowly. If you think this through carefully, you will quickly realise not everyone will need to necessarily have an EOS account or hold EOS tokens. EOS tokens are predominantly for 2 sets of people; 1. DAPP developers 2. Anyone who sees the money making opportunity of Airdrops, the Blockchain vision and huge potentials in the future of owning stake in a world computer. SUMMARILY: My confidence is fully restored on EOS. RAM will get cheaper. BlockOne will start rolling out news soon according to Brendan Blumer the BlockOne's CEO. You will be able to rent Bandwidth, CPU and MAYBE just maybe RAM. BlockOne keeps hiring top guns from established blue chip companies. They are working on Steem 2.0 & Bitshares 2.0. EOS is still the number 1 enterprise scale public Blockchain out there. It recently recorded over 1000tps while ETH max out at 15tps and Bitcoin at 4tps. Ignore the noise, load up on EOS. It will rise from the ashes. This year!!!

Yes they're independent but the data is still there and has to be stored. If any chain processes millions of tps per second that means that an immense amount of data would be needed. Something like 1 terabyte an hour would have to be added. I'm not sure whether that's cost efficient or if any company can even hold that much data

It will not be on one main chain. It will be on multiple separate side chains. The bp will have to support all the official side chains but any single dApp developer can synch and have a copy of the chain they use. Which will probably be just one side chain plus the main chain. They can also choose to filter out any block which has no relevant tx of their dApp.
