I think people became sceptical because the swap was to much for the speculative investor and they always shout the loudest without any fundamentally backed reason. I do have to say from a crypto user/trader point of view the flaws and problems EOS currently faces/was facing are pretty large regarding the amount of eperience/capital and time the team has.

on the long term, certainly possible. im more excited over the actuall real life use cases it could offer though. living in a "not so liberal" country i have a few possible project in mind that i think could be created on EOS.

The one reason I think it could happen sooner than anyone expects: the only reason everyone stacks BTC is because it’s the biggest and most liquid coin. If any EOS apps see mass adoption soon then they could bring in lots of commerce and make EOS the most liquid coin due to being used for business, not trading. Which will make it more desirable to trade as well.

Like others said. No need for erc20 wallet to use your eos. They are now in EOS blockchain. You only need EOS wallet and your public and private key.

Just do you know, your details for EVO are incorrect. The snapshot was taken on May 10th and it was required your address be EOS registered before May 4th. If registered between May 4th and the snapshot, it was required to have at least .025 ETH and 25 EOS in th address at the time of the snapshot to prevent participants from receiving the airdrop twice.

In a way, yes, they are doing multiple airdrops. The main one is the 12,000 to each address airdrop called the "Initial Airdrop". However, they are doing intermitent "community" airdrops as well that work as rewards to individuals consistently involved and helpful in the community. Since the community airdrop doesn't necessarily pertain to individuals who are just EOS holders, I would think the initial airdrop would be the primary interest and most relevant.

According to them, it's because of the high gas prices and network congestion. Again, if the initial airdrop is the only active EVO airdrop with any information, and if it is your goal to provide accurate airdrop information in your spreadsheet, I would update it accordingly with the available information. Maybe add a 2nd EVO line with info on the 'scaled airdrop'?

Not from your MEW. Like I said, those are frozen and are useless now. They have been replaced with EOS on the EOS blockchain, which you can send to an exchange.

The key feature of EOS is scalability and hence we compare ZILLIQA and EOS wrt the scalability aspect. The high throughput of EOS comes from its consensus protocol called dPoS (delegated PoS). dPoS in EOS works in the following manner: A dedicated subset of 21 nodes aka block producers is elected by the network to propose the blocks. The probability of a node being elected is based on its stake in EOS. Each of the 21 nodes proposes exactly one block with a block time of 3s. As you may imagine, this mechanism will certainly yield very high throughout. However, this also leads to some risks. The number 21 is not large enough and hence it should be easy to attack them or at least a majority of them. The obvious solution here would be to increase 21 to a larger number say 1,000 or even more. By doing so, latency will increase and the throughput will drop. This is because each node would need to broadcast the block to a larger network and broadcast is always a bottleneck in any distributed system. Another point to add is that trusting only 21 nodes also leads to some centralisation risks. Moreover, dPoS does not guarantee finality. This means that a malicious node may produce a competing block. As a result, confirmations are required (as in Bitcoin) to have cushion against double spends. ZILLIQA uses a different consensus protocol called pBFT. The benefit of pBFT is that it gives finality. Hence, no confirmation is required. The consensus in ZILLIQA is run in parallel within a set of around 600 nodes. The size is large enough to ensure that the centralisation risk is low.

Go to eosauthority.com and input your ETH public address where your EOS erc20 tokens are held. It will show you your EOS public address and EOS acount name. Then you can go to a EOS block explorer, like eospark.com, bloks.io , eosflare.io and search fir your EOS account name to see your EOS as they exist on the EOS blockchain.

Looks like there was an authorzation to change permissions and that's how they got in. D K was playing the game for awhile beforehand, so if they were just blindly playing it, they wouldn't have even looked twice at the details in Scatter.

Well you can see that a change in permissions happened to their account before the EOS were transferred out. I imagine that at some point while playing the game, a prompt came up through Scatter to authorize the permissions change. Giving the schemer access to their account.

this would count for me: "Host gatherings to help EOS token holders register wallets in preparation for the launch" - the roadmap looks good. but i would say so far they haven't delivered much compared to some of the other "good" bps (at least from what i've seen, maybe i missed it). but hey that's fine. i would consider voting for them, but for me personally not 100% earned my vote yet. but looking forward to what they will deliver going forward.

It looks like an option by the sounds of it, or maybe upping the number of BPs and giving them a little bit more whilst still reducing the overall level of inflation considerably. BPs have been producing some great tools without using any of the WPS, even some people of the ones who aren’t being paid 😄😉

There is neither 100% nor min, it depends on how everyone else is doing on the network. For instance, someone with few tokens may enjoy a lot of bandwidth when there is no congestion on the network but someone with comparatively more tokens won't have much bandwidth in times of congestion.
