I already register my tokens via Exodus (one step solution) but there was some comment on Steemit: Dan Larimer Stated that the existence of registration workarounds did not mean they would be honored by the Block-One network. Does the Exodus wallet team have the Block One permission for these registrations? Be aware that not using the Block-One registration process will leave blanks in your smart contract. The blanks are your identification for proving you're not from China or the USA.

What do you mean?

Let me know if I understand this incorrectly.... So if a developer launches their coin on the EOS platform, they are required to airdrop to EOS holders (or whatever holders they choose) and so they are not able to do an ICO to sell their coins, and so they give away coins instead of selling them at the start and therefore it is an opportunity cost of utilizing the EOS platform...

Put it this way. I give away 1000 tokens (at 0 cost to me) and i keep 1000 tokens for myself. The market decides that those 1000 airdropped tokens that are on the market are worth 50 bucks each. Now the 1000 tokens i kept myself are worth $50,000.

If you can transfer your EOS to a MEW or Exodus wallet and then register that address in the next 5-6 hrs, do it. Otherwise keep on Binance as they will swap it to the “real” EOS automatically. The disadvantage in being on an exchange is missing out on airdrops (and possibly forks).

Fellow Binancians, After communicating directly with the EOS Team, Binance has confirmed that the EOS ERC20 Token Network will be frozen at 2018/06/02 9:59:59 PM UTC. As such, Binance will reopen EOS deposits until 2018/06/02 4:00 PM UTC, at which point we will suspend deposits again and process the EOS Mainnet Swap as previously announced.

Calm down. This project has been cooking for a long time. As long as you have generated and keep your new EOS private key safe you will own that eos. The wallet doesn't. There will be multiple wallets available....

I bought from Binance last night and some from the EOS distribution. Transferred it, I’ve only used Exodus.io to hold EOS. They take care of everything for you. Make sure you have ETH to pay for gas. Maybe too late though. Go check it. You do Not get airdrops if you hold EOS on an exchange.

No, you can't. It's done automatically and deterministically. You can create a new account once the blockchain is running if you want a different name.

My understanding is Binance registers their wallets and when you withdrawl (when they decide you can withdraw) your erctokens on binance will be withdrawn as native eos in which ever chain binance wants to give you.

Wallets don't matter. For example if binance has say red eos wallet and you had blue eos wallet you could still transact. The eos you own is represented by your keys not the wallet

It's simple! Use your eos private key with some appropriate software. Block.one have produced the cleos software which can do anything on the eos blockchain including sending of tokens. There are gui wallets developed by the community too.

Why do you want to move it in middle of now? Keep it on Binance. Binance confirmed that if your tokens are there, they will do the token swap for you. You got nothing to worry as long as your EOS are on binance.

Why to MEW? Your tokens will go to eos mainnet ... thats why you are registering your MEW address to the generated public key of eos
