Then of you misbehave (trivially easy to spot if blocks aren't produced correctly) all your work and a lot of money goes down the shitter!

i understand, but lets say i had a really good idea for a dapp. And i would only give airdrop to EOS people if they vote for me to be a BP. because i like to earn a little on the side too.

Even if that ended up being the case and they gained enough votes to be a block producer, they'd still have to do a good job as a block producer. If block producers produce invalid blocks other block producers will drop them, plus we can aim our votes elsewhere. The key thing to understand is that block producers cannot get away with misbehaving to the point where eos gets screwed up.

Which centralised exchanges don't charge for either? People have complained in here a lot about withdrawal fees for eos erc-20 and it seems to me bitfinex is one of the better ones. There are costs associated with all of this.

I recommend coding bootcamp with a focus on blockchain https://www.theblockchainacademy.com to understand how these languages apply to crypto. Note: Some jobs in crypto won’t have you necessarily working on blockchain applications itself. Ie. Google blockchain schools to find other boot camps because there are many out there. Lastly, go to local meet ups to meet other devs and ask them where the need is greatest on their teams. There is no such thing as a MEW wallet. You have an Ethereum account. You just use MEW to communicate with the blockchain to check your txs and balance.

So I a) checked I am registered at eosauthority, b) ran the offline key pairing checker by them, and was able to input my private EOS key and double check it's linked to my EOS public key. My only concern is that I generated through the official EOS website. I did it in Tor and ran the key generator button offline. Anyone else do this method? I haven't heard anything about the website having problems but the email list thing threw me off.

You would have to register the MEW address holding your EOS after moving from Binance. Since you’re technically set on Binance, I’d sit tight, but if you want to try moving to MEW, just move a little bit then check eosauthority to see it registered your EOS on your MEW. Down to the wire.

More expensive = more popular, it costs them nothing to airdrop tokens, and they'll have a larger network of people to give their tokens value assuming the project is good

But isn’t there a big opportunity cost since they are not doing an ICO on another platform
