The eosDAC airdrop was directly done against erc20 wallets holding EOS tokens. It has nothing to do with registration of Eth wallets. You might want to check your registration status on eosauthority dot com (by entering your eth wallet address).

By holding your eos on binance they will swap the tokens for you. Had you moved them into myetherwallet and registered you would have been entitled to airdrops. I don’t think that binance will give you the airdrops. Just never give your private keys to anyone as that’s a scam

What happens when the freese happens in 8 hrs?

When freeze happen, no one can move/transfer their ERC20-EOS tokens. Now that everyone is not moving we can then do snapshot and generate genesis block. Then we can have our mainnet. Snapshotting takes time btw, there are just so many addresses and people's balance to pull over, and it might take 15-16 hours and require a decent computer.

Not 7 hours, there's a 4 step process, and there's not going to be an official mainnet, the community will have to determine which mainnet is going to be the "real" mainnet and then vote for block producers. Under normal conditions a DPOS blockchain does not experience any forks because, rather than compete, the block producers cooperate to produce blocks. In the event there is a fork, consensus will automatically switch to the longest chain. This method works because the rate at which blocks are added to a blockchain fork is directly correlated to the percentage of block producers that share the same consensus. In other words, a blockchain fork with more producers on it will grow in length faster than one with fewer producers, because the fork with more producers will experience fewer missed blocks. Furthermore, no block producer should be producing blocks on two forks at the same time. A block producer caught doing this will likely be voted out.

quick question - so I bought some EOS tokens on period #350. Claimed them. Question: what did I actually buy (lol)? I didn't buy erc20 tokens, right? I bought the right to own those token when someone make a chain out of EOS code base, right? is there any offline wallet to see those tokens? how the process to use those token on EOS-type chains will work? It's rather confusing the "transfer eos token" to metamask option, since those are not erc20 tokens (I mean, the address given by the EOS public key starting with "EOS..." has nothing to do with ethereum, right?)

so exodus wallet started with mew registration manually then went to a quick button. I registered manually and it was showing all good. After exodus made there quick button it was showing my eos in there wallet as not registered. is exodus trying to get everyone's airdrops?

I personally don’t think so. Exodus is a legitimate wallet and team. Same thing happened to me in Exodus, I just re-registered using the one click to be safe and got new EOS keys. As long as you can see your ETH address pulls up on the EOS contract you’re good though.

hoitbtc has ridiculous exit fees. Quit trading there. Besides that, you can give all your airdrops to hitbtc if you want. The real value of eos will be the added airdropped projects to the largest distrinuted netwoirk in the universe.
